2025 Pure Maple Syrup & Raw Honey
2025 Pure Maple Syrup & Raw Honey
One Sweet Acre is in it’s third year of Maple syrup production and now that the season is over, it is time to share the goodness! The sap is collected from Maples on our property and neighboring properties in Center Valley, PA. We have been blessed by God to have the trees and the time to do all of this and simply wish to pass this blessing on to others. Please limit yourself to one bottle so that others may also get to enjoy in the delicious sugars of our Norway and Black Maples.
Some season statistics:
A total of 24 spiles (taps) were used
The length of sap collection was 42 days
Each spile averaged 16.63 gallons
On average, 8.65 gallons were collected per day
A total of 207.5 gallons of sap were collected over the 42 days
The average sugar content of the sap was 1.9% (meaning it is 98.1% water)
The average high for the 42 day season was 43.6º
The average low for the 42 day season was 26.0º
Roughly 75 hours were needed to boil the sap
All of these factors, and so much more, are what helps produce 4.07 gallons of Maple Syrup
There is an even more limited quantity of Maple Syrup that had some Walnut sap mixed into the batch, creating a unique flavor that is similar to Butterscotch.
Raw Honey
This was also our first year raising honeybees and we have a limited quantity of raw honey. Very bold in flavor, resembling wildflower honey, that is guaranteed to please the honey lover in your life. Our mission with keeping bees is to let the bees be bees and stay hands off, not feeding them sugar water or using chemical treatments (like conventional and commercial keepers do).
Please limit ONE bottle of each per order (example, one bottle of syrup and/or one bottle of honey).
